Well, that would be now. I’m in the midst of finals, and out of necessity to avoid studying, I’ve become a really avid hiker in the past, oh, four days. I was filming a video for a project up in the mountains on Saturday, and have literally been back every day since, sometimes dragging my friends along.
It’s just so pretty! Why have I been letting all of this beauty go to waste even though it’s literally my backyard? I used to go camping all the time when I was little, but since I’ve become an adult and my parents don’t force me to go places, I really have been taking the view for granted.
Or, this might just be a passing thing and as soon as I’m done with school, I won’t feel the need to quite literally climb five miles straight up every day. I kind of hope not. I’m like this whole new person who wears backpacks and hats and hikes, and it’s kind of weird, but I kind of like it. Anyway, back to studying! I have two more tests tomorrow and then I’m free!
